John is a highly motivated individual and successful founder of Wade Civil Engineering. John deeply values honesty and integrity. He is a great leader who instills enthusiasm and dedication into his team. He is a skilled financial manager. He embodies perseverance and trust in his colleagues. Not only does John utilise his talents within Wade Civil Engineering, he selflessly finds time to share these skills with the wider community.
John has had a long-standing association with the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) of New South Wales. He has served on the CCF NSW Board since 1993. John was elected as Vice President for a period of two years between 2007 and 2008, before being elected as CCF NSW President in 2009. He stepped down as President after 6 years in 2015, currently remaining as a member of the CCF NSW Board. During this time, he has helped steer CCF NSW toward a clear vision for industry advocacy, helping to increase the membership and lay solid foundations for the future of this Employer Association.
John is also a Board Member of the Institute of Civil Infrastructure since it’s formation in 2018.
John has also shared his skills and expertise elsewhere in the community. He has been a member of the Building and Property Committee at Loreto Normanhurst for 16 years from 1999 to 2015.
